Have you noticed how many people are coming out lately? Whether it’s a man deciding to live the life of a woman, or a woman deciding to live the life of a man, have you noticed that no one seems to be afraid anymore to come out and declare their sexual orientation?
Aspiring writer, is it time for you to come out too? If you’ve been in a season of preparation for your writing ministry, has the time come for you to come out and begin writing for publication?
After Jesus was baptized, he was sent into the wilderness to prepare for his ministry. After spending forty days and nights fasting, praying and overcoming the temptations from the Devil, this time of preparation ended, and Jesus came out of the wilderness and began his ministry of teaching, preaching and healing.
Like Jesus, your time of preparation for your writing ministry is not designed to last forever. Just as he came out of the wilderness and began his ministry, eventually a time will come when you will need to come out too. So be sure to listen when you hear that still voice telling you you’ve prepared long enough, and that it’s time to begin writing for publication.
