There’s an old song I like to sing periodically when I am discouraged about when I will enter the land of writing for publication, especially when I see others whom I have encouraged to enter before me:
You’ve been faithful, you’ve been true
You’ve done all that you can do
And for your faithfulness, it’s your time
You applauded for the rest
Now it’s your time to be blessed
And for your faithfulness, it’s your time
You’ve waited for so long
But you held on; you were strong
And for your faithfulness, it’s your time.
Aspiring writer, no matter how long it takes for you to enter the land of writing for publication, stay faithful to your call. And when it’s your time, it’s your time.
