What is it time for you to do?

The Lord our God said to us at Horeb, “You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negev and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates. See, I have given you this land.   Deuteronomy 1: 6-7, NLT

When I was expecting my first child, I remember the feeling I had when I visited my doctor for my weekly check-up and he told me it was time for my delivery. I told him it couldn’t be time because I had a lot of things I still needed to put in place for my new arrival.  However, he assured me everything would be okay because my baby was ready to come.

In the same way, could it be time for you to give birth to your writing ministry? Even if you feel you still have some things to put in place as a Christian writer,  do you hear a small voice within telling you it’s time to get started? Time to write the story God has placed on your heart?  Time to submit your first article? Time to publish your first book?

As an aspiring writer, you may never feel completely ready to share your work professionally. But if you hear God telling you it’s time to get started as a new year begins, then believe that you have everything needed to begin.

So get ready to push. For the time has come for you to deliver your writing ministry!

Sharing the journey,

Jeaninne

Writer’s prayer: Father, if the time has come, help me to not to be afraid to  give birth to my writing ministry.
Amen.
