He knows!

For I know the plans I have for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

I have to return to full-time employment to help improve the finances of my household, so I have applied for a  job.

It  seems counterproductive to return to a full-time job when I know how much time is involved in the development of my writing ministry. But I have to believe that God knows the plans he has for my future as a Christian writer. And returning to work, in some way, will be for the good of my writing ministry and not for its disaster.

Aspiring writer, if it seems like you’re taking a step backwards rather than forward as you write for publication, don’t get discouraged, for God still knows the plans he has for you. Plans for a great future as a Christian writer, even when you have to return to the past.

Sharing the journey,

Jeaninne

Aspiring writer’s prayer: Father, when I have to return to the past, thank you for knowing the future plans you have for me as a Christian writer.   Amen.

Writer-to -Writer: Have you had to take a step backwards on your journey to write for ministry and publication?  How has it affected your progress toward your writing goals? Be sure to post your comments on my blog!
