My prayer for you

We have continued praying for you ever since we first heard about you.  Colossians 1:9, NLT

Paul had never met the Colossian believers that he helped bring to the Lord, but he faithfully prayed for them. His prayer reminds me that although I may never meet some of you who are beginning the journey to write for publication for the Christian marketplace, I can still pray for you. So here is an adaptation of Paul’s prayer from me to you:

I pray God will help you to live out your calling as a Christian writer.

I pray God will help you grow in the knowledge of his word.

I pray God will give you an understanding of what he wants you to write for publication.

I pray God will give you the time and energy needed to write for publication.

I pray God will give you endurance on the road to publication.

I pray God will give you a spirit of thanksgiving on the road to publication.

If we never meet on your journey to write for publication, know that I am praying for you!
