Your river of resource

God himself lives in that city; it cannot be destroyed. God will protect it at the break of day.  Psalms 46:5 NLT.

According to a footnote in my study Bible, many great cities had rivers flowing through them, sustaining people’s lives by making agriculture possible and facilitating trade with other cities. But the city of Jerusalem had no river, yet it was still a thriving city.  How did it sustain itself? Through God.

Aspiring writer, sometimes the resources you have depended upon to sustain you while on your journey to write for publication will run dry. Your checking account may run dry, your savings account may run dry, and any backup resources you have depended upon may run dry too. How do you sustain yourself during your journey when all of your resources run dry?  By depending on God. Like he was for Jerusalem, he will be there in for you, ensuring you have everything you need to write for Him.

Sharing the journey,

Jeaninne
