He won’t forget

God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward his name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.  Hebrews 6:20, NLT

I have to return to the workforce on a full-time basis because my finances warrant I do so. And I can’t help but wonder:  “Has God forgotten all of the time, energy and work I’ve invested into my writing ministry while I’ve been home, and the time I’ve invested in ministering to others?

But God never forgets his faithful ones. For God rewarded Noah for his faithfulness in building the ark. God rewarded Abraham for his faithfulness in leaving his homeland. And God rewarded Naomi for her faithfulness when she chose to stay with her Mother-in-law after her husband died.

Returning to work full-time seems counterproductive as I’ve sought to be in ministry full-time as a Christian writer and bible-teacher. But I have to believe God has not forgotten the work I have done and the love I have shown to others through my ministry as a Christian writer and Bible-teacher, and in his own time and way, he will reward my faithfulness to HIm.

Responding to God’s call to write:

Are you questioning if God has forgotten how faithful you have been to your writing ministry? Pour our your concerns to him today in prayer. He hears you and will never forget!

Writers prayer: Father, thank you for never forgetting the work I do as a writer for your kingdom. Amen.
