Is your table wobbly?

Life is like a table with four legs. If one of those legs is too long or too short, the table is wobbly.  Anne Sirna

I could write all day because I love to write. But when I looked at my life, I realized there were areas I had neglected because of my love for writing. I hadn’t spent much time with my husband, cleaned my house, participated in any activities at my daughter’s school, or exercised on a regular basis. It’s not that I didn’t care about these other areas in my life; I just made them second in importance to writing.

As you pursue your dream of writing for publication, be careful not to allow your writing to consume so much of your time that you neglect other areas in your life, for no one likes to sit at a wobbly table.

Sharing the journey,

Jeaninne

Writer to Master: Father, I ask for your help keeping the right balance between my writing and other life obligations.  Amen.

Jeaninne, I must find that window that you look into my life at! Another great post that spoke to me right where I’m at. Thank you for reminding me to strike the balance in life. God bless you!
