ARE YOU COMPELLED?

Preaching the Good News is not something I can boast about. I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News!   I  Corinthians 9:16, NLT

Wake up. Dress. Eat. Drop off.  Wake up. Dress. Eat. Drop off again. You guessed it. Another school year has begun in my household.  With so much busyness these last few mornings getting my children up, ready and off to school, I haven’t devoted much time to the craft of writing.

Preaching the good news was something Paul knew he was called to do. Even with great suffering and persecution, Paul said he would never stop preaching, because he was compelled by God to do it, and would feel terrible if he didn’t preach.

My writing schedule has been disrupted now that my children are back in school, but I will still find a way to write. For like Paul, I am compelled by God to write and would feel miserable if I didn’t.

Is writing something you feel compelled to do? Then don’t ever stop!

Sharing the journey,

Jeaninne

Writer’s prayer: Lord, thank you for calling me to write. I promise to never stop writing for you. Amen.
