When I was pregnant with my my first child, I remember the anxiety I felt when I visited my doctor one day for my weekly check-up and he told me it was time for my delivery. I told him it couldn’t be time because I still had a lot of things I had to put in place before my baby was delivered. But in spite of my concerns, my Doctor told me it was time to pack my bags and check into the hospital.
In the same way, is it time for you to give birth to your writing ministry? Even if you still have some things you’d like to put in place before you begin, do you hear a small voice telling you it’s time to get started writing your first poem, article, short story or book?
As an aspiring writer, you will never feel completely ready to write for publication. But if God has been telling you it’s time to begin, then you have to believe you have what it takes to get started.
